BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the first time since Jan. 5, 2016, the Baker University women’s basketball team cracked the 2015-16 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 poll coming in at No. 24 this week.
Baker joins three other teams out of the Heart of America Athletic Conference in this week’s poll including No. 9 MNU, No. 13 Central Methodist and No. 19 Benedictine.
The Frontier Conference, Heart of America Athletic Conference and Mid-South Conference lead all leagues with four teams represented each.
The Wildcats enter this week’s Heart Conference Tournament with a record of 22-7 overall and the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Culver-Stockton in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Mar. 3 at 7 p.m.
