DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Baker University dance team competed in the 2016 NAIA Competitive Dance National Invitational over the weekend in Davenport, Iowa and took home seventh-place out of 12 teams competing.
Baker earned 98.19 total points, while first-place and host school St. Ambrose University finished in first-place with 112.56 points.
The 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance Scholar-Athletes were also announced in Davenport, Iowa and four members of the Baker spirit squad earned the honor (three dancers and one cheerleader).
Callie Brabender, Michelle Critchfield, Erika Mallery and Kaitlyn Stout all earned the award for the Wildcats.
