The doors opened at 5:30 P.M. with the rally scheduled to start at 6:30 P.M. However, after getting started late, the rally organizers, introduced the Presidential candidate at 7 P.M.
Once taking stage, Cruz spoke on a number of different topics, talking about how Obamacare hurts the economy, jobs and small businesses in particular. "When it comes to jobs, the heart of the economy is small businesses," Cruz told the audience.

Tonight, March 3, 2016, Bernie Sanders will make his way to the 4-H Fairgrounds, 1930 Harper, in Lawrence, KS. Like the Cruz event, the Sanders event is free and open to the public.
The only other campaign to stop in Kansas, will not be in Northeast Kansas. That being the Marco Rubio campaign, that will come to Wichita's Jabara Airport, Hanger 9,3512 N Webb Road. The event, which is also fee and open to the public, will be tomorrow afternoon, Friday, March 4, 2016 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 P.M.
