Street closures
- 56 hwy to 3rd Street to stage the parade from 7 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m. The parade route itself will be closed at 10 until the conclusion of the parade, which is estimated to last this year until about 1:30 p.m.
- High Street between Sixth to Ninth Street
- Seventh between Grove to Indiana
- Eighth Between High and Indiana
- Chapel between Eighth and Sixth
- Vinland Methodist Church
- Midland Railway (both Saturday and Sunday mornings)

FRIDAY EVENTS
- Full Carnival - Open evening only.
- Parade 11:00 am
- Kiddie Parade 10:45 am
- 5K run at the Golf Course at 8:00 am. For more information (about the 5K ONLY, no general questions about the Festival, please) email or call 785-221-8025.
- Arts and Craft Booths open from 9:00 am-6:00 pm, Saturday and 9:00
am-5:00 pm, Sunday; downtown through 8th Street.
- Free Country music all day.
- Train rides at the historic Sante Fe Depot on West High Street are
available. Baldwin to Nowhere & Train Robber Tickets available at
Depot.
- Quilt Show
Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm; Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm
- Carnival and Kids' Zone
- Food booths providing a variety delights including Funnel
Cakes, BBQ, Turkeylegs, homemade pies, hamburgers and hotdogs.
- The Black Jack cabin, located in the roadside park at 2011 N 200th Road (E Hwy56) is open from 9 am-4 pm. Volunteers are on hand to provide tours.
SUNDAY ONLY EVENTS
- Gospel music Sunday Morning in the Music Tent
- Volkswalk 10:00 am-4:30 pm begins at the high school, no fee for the event but participants may pay a fee for a medal and lVV credit.
