BALDWIN CITY, Kansas – The Baker University football team hangs on to the number. 2 spot in this week’s NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 poll for the fourth-straight week, announced on Monday.
The 8-0 Wildcats defeated rival MNU, 55-34, this past Saturday and have now won 14-straight games against a Heart of America Athletic Conference opponent.
Also joining Baker in the Top 25 poll from the Heart includes number 6 Grand View, number 9 Missouri Valley and number 22 Benedictine.
Baker is one of only three teams left in the NAIA with a perfect record, as they are joined by number 1 Marian (Ind.) who is 7-0 and number 3 Reinhardt (Ga.) who is 8-0.
The ‘Cats will next face Central Methodist this Saturday, October 29 at 1 p.m. in Fayette, Missouri.
