Students Artwork on Display

On the evening of February 19, 2016, the Lumberyard Arts Center, 718 High Street, held an open house for this months art exhibit. According to Sandy Cardens, Gallery Coordinator, The artists are the Baldwin Jr. High and Baldwin High School Advanced Placement Art Students. "It is amazing the talent we see displayed when we have a show of their work each year. The Lumberyard Arts Center is proud to have their work here and to be able to provide a space to show it off!"
During the hour and half open house, a number of folks mingled around looking at the artwork. Kyle Trendel said, that it was a "great setting for the kids to display their work. There's a lot of talent." 
Another art admirer Laura Weiss, whose daughter Emily is one of the Advanced Placement students, who had her artwork on display, commented that there was "so much talent" on display. 
The exhibit will be on display through March 19. Cardens said, that the next exhibit will be artwork from elementary students.
