BALDWIN CITY, KS – With 3:16 remaining in the game, Baker University led rival MNU, 72-65, but the Pioneers went on a 10-0 run to end the game to defeat the Wildcats, 75-72, on Wednesday night.
MNU moves to 14-13 on the year and 13-10 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play, while the Wildcats fall to 14-13 and 11-12 in the Heart.
Javeion Gray and Taylor Johnson each led Baker with 13 points and Nathan Guscott added 10.
Baker knocked down eight three-point field goals with six different 'Cats registering a three.
BU outrebounded the Pioneers, 40-31, as Daniel Young and Tyrome Parker each collected six rebounds.
The Pioneers had three players score in double figures and had eight team blocks, four from Justin Randall.
The 'Cats return home to face Peru State on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside the Collins Center.
