Four Wildcats Score in Double Figures to Lead Baker Past Graceland

BALDWIN CITY, Kansas – With four different Wildcats scoring in double figures, the Baker University men's basketball team defeated (RV) Graceland, 91-86, on Wednesday night.

Senior Javeion Gray scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Wildcats, while Tyrome Parker added 19, Tyree Peter poured in 18 and Nathan Guscott netted 11.

With the win Baker moves to 15-14 overall and 12-13 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play, while Graceland falls to 18-11 overall and 15-10 in Heart action.

Baker shot 55.1-percent from the field on 27-of-49 and an impressive 82.9-percent from the free-throw line, on 29-of-35 shooting. Javeion Gray shot 14-of-17 from the line and collected a team-high three steals.

Peter had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. BU caused 10 turnovers on the night.

Baker will next host number 24 Grand View on Saturday, February 25 on Senior Day at 2 p.m. inside the Collins Center.
