Kevin Surbaugh

Authorities searching for one of two teenagers who was thrown into the Douglas State Fishing Lake on Saturday after a boat capsized found a body Wednesday afternoon that is believed to be that of the missing 18-year old.
According to a press release from the Sheriff's office, divers recovered the body at approximately  3 P.M. Wednesday.  The sheriff’s office is waiting for confirmation from the coroner’s office, but the body is believed to be Cameron Kirchner, Gardner, who had been missing since his boat capsized at the lake around 10 p.m. Saturday.
Kirchner and a 17-year-old friend were in a boat that overturned. According to the release, the 17-year-old resurfaced, but Kirchner did not. Both were not wearing life jackets. The boat, the pair had been in, had already been recovered from the bottom of the lake, Monday afternoon. Authorities from several agencies had been searching the lake for Kirchner since Saturday night.
