Kansas Hometown Showdown Contest

The city of Baldwin City is participating in a Kansas Hometown Showdown contest conducted by the League of Kansas Municipalities. In a statement from the city,  the voting has begun for this contest. 
Baldwin City's entry is of the council pushing the cities newest firetruck into the fire station.
In order for Baldwin City to move up in the bracket, the city needs to have a lot of votes. At the time this article was being typed up, the cities entry was in with place with 28 votes (likes).  The city with the most votes was Assaria, with 106 votes.  This is March madness!!  To vote follow this link and click "like" on our hometown photo.  Round 1 is open now through March 5.
