On New Years Eve, one year ago the Baldwin City Signal ceased publication, which brought about the creation of the Baldwin City Gazette. Now as the Gazette celebrates it's first year it announces the creation of a new web portal. A site which, it had hoped to launch in the summer of 2016, but because of several delays, it was postponed until this momentous mile-mark. This portal will serve all areas of Douglas, Miami and portions of Franklin Counties.Because, of this it derives its name from the two counties it encompasses totally. That name is DougAmi.net. The web portal shall be a launching point or starting point for everyone in the area, with links to every church and business in the areas served. Surbaugh promises that the links shall be very economical for those wishing to be linked on the web portal at small annual rate. He really does want all to be found on this new portal.
In addition, the portal will allow non-profits to have their events listed for free, the same as the events are in the Gazette.
Serving the residents of Kansas, with business, government, politics, opinion, and human interest.
