BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University senior women’s golfer Lindsey Mateer continues to collect awards, as she became the first-ever in Baker University men’s or women’s golf to be named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team.
The award is to recognize the nations top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
First-Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
Mateer is just one of 11 athletes named to the First-Team College Division from District 3 which comes from a pool of athletes from the States of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
