MEN'S BASKETBALL: CJ Bolton Named NAIA Scholar-Athlete


BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University guard CJ Bolton was named one of 61 NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball players in the country to earn the coveted Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, announced at the National Championship.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

Bolton knocked down 28 three-point field goals in 2015-16 and appeared in all 29 games for the ‘Cats with nine starts.
