Regional Pedestrian Plan

Adam Weigel, Douglas County metropolitan planning organization (MPO), announced a plan in the works for Douglas County’s first Regional Pedestrian Plan. In coordination with the City of Baldwin City, the Douglas County MPO has launched an online survey and will be present this Saturday at the PTO Carnival at BESPC. We have published the press release in it's entirety.
Help us develop Baldwin City’s priorities for walking
Community input is essential to the success of the development of the Regional Pedestrian Plan. Therefore, the Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), in coordination with the City of Baldwin City has launched an online survey. A link to the survey is available on the MPO webpage at http://lawrenceks.org/mpo/tellus now through May 7.
In addition, the MPO staff will be present at the PTO Carnival at the Baldwin Elementary School Primary Center on Saturday, April 23rd from 4:00pm-7:00pm to talk with community members.
Your valuable input will help identify priority routes for pedestrians in Baldwin City. The survey should take less than 5 minutes. Let your voice be heard!
