Baker Men’s Soccer Bumps up to Number 6

BALDWIN CITY, Kansas – While riding its ten match unbeaten streak, the Baker University men’s soccer team moved up a spot to No. 6 in this week’s NAIA Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 poll, announced on Tuesday.
Also joining the Wildcats from the Heart in the Top 25 include number nine MNU and number 22 Central Methodist.

The Wildcats are 10-2-2 overall and have a tough stretch upcoming as they face three of the top six teams in the conference standings in its final four matches of the season.

Baker will take on Avila on Wednesday, October 19 at 1 p.m., while the host (RV) Grand View on Saturday, October 22 at 3:30 p.m. and number 22 ranked Central Methodist on Monday, October 24 at 7 p.m., before ending the season against Missouri Valley at home on Wed., October 26 at 7:30 p.m., a stretch of four matches in seven days.

The Wildcats rank number eight in the country in shots on goal per game at 10.3 and No. 17 in the NAIA in total shut outs with seven.
