BALDWIN CITY, Kansas – Defending Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year Krista Hooper was named the Heart Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week announced Monday, after leading the number 13 ranked Wildcats to a 2-0 record.
The senior from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and the ‘Cats defeated Ottawa University, 3-0 and followed that up with a 5-1 win over Park University to improve to 3-2 on the year.
In the win over Ottawa she knocked in two goals and then picked up two assists in the win over Park.
She now has 22 goals scored in her illustrious Baker career and nine career assists.
The Wildcats will next face Mid-America Christian this Tuesday, September 13 at 2 p.m. in its final non-conference match of the season.
