Baker Men Falls at Culver-Stockton


 
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University men’s basketball team fell at Culver-Stockton on Saturday afternoon, 65-52.

Culver-Stockton now moves to 10-16 overall and 6-12 in the Heart, while Baker falls to 11-14 overall and 7-11 in conference play.

Javeion Gray and Gregg Easter led Baker in scoring with nine points each and CJ Bolton along with Tyrome Parker had a team-high six rebounds apiece.

Easter knocked in three, three-point field goals and Daniel Young added eight points and four rebounds off the bench.

The Baker defense held CSC to just 18.2-percent shooting from three-point range and caused 10 turnovers.

The Wildcats will next face Benedictine in another Heart matchup on Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Baker defeated the Ravens, 76-71, back on Jan. 20 in the Collins Center.
