Executive Title Cuts the Ribbon on it's New Office

by Kevin Surbaugh

The Baldwin City Chamber of Commerce, Baldwin City Economic Development Corporation and a number of Baldwin City residents gathered at the new location for Executive Title, for a ribbon cutting. The local title company that was founded by Phyllis Mapes in 2001 and bought by Casey and Elise Simoneau in December of 2015, has moved from it's downtown location on High Street to new digs at 816 Ames.
According to Simoneau they officially moved into the strip mall, that houses Goodcents, Subway and Jitter's Coffee Shop among several other businesses on November 19, 2016.

Simoneau said, that his grandpa was a broker and dad was in real estate also. After a period of time in law enforcement that brought him to Baldwin City, he began selling real estate himself, before buying the title company. The company, Simoneau said, has three employees besides himself.
Simoneau along with his son cut the ribbon, after brief introductions from Jeannette Blackmar, Baldwin City Chamber, Hank Book, Baldwin City Economic Development Corporation and Dave Hill, Mid-America Bank.
Blackmar said, Casey is dedicated to community and real estate. Thanking him for all he has done and does (in the community).
Hill said he has known Casey for a long time and is real glad to have him as a (business) neighbor, telling Simoneau, "I wish you the very best."
