New Business Holds Ribbon Cutting

Baldwin City is now home to a tax and CPA firm,
Frontier Tax and Business Services.

On Wednesday May 3, 2017 Robb Fergusson and his wife Pam hosted a ribbon cutting at their business, New Frontier Tax and business Services, 608 High Street. During the gathering, at least thirty people mingled and enjoyed refreshments before the ribbon cutting.
In the lead up, City Council Member Tony Brown wished the business owners and staff, "Success for your business," telling them the city as a whole was appreciative of having a tax and accounting services in Baldwin City.
Fergusson said that he has been doing taxes for twenty years.He spent thirty years in business selling farm implements.  The last three years he was the Business Services Officer at Frontier Farm Credit. A division the lending organization eliminated. "Pretty much wed to ag business," Fergusson quipped.

Fergusson also admitted that his time at Frontier Farm Credit, helped influence the name of the new business.
