Baldwin City Habitat Home Proceeding Along

photographer Kevin Surbaugh
As the Habitat for Humanity home build in Baldwin City moves into it's fifth weekend, the roof is on and siding was expected to be on by the end of the day on Saturday June 4, 2016. Bootsie Lauridsen, the projects co-chair, said that the community has really supported this project.  According to Lauridsen, enough money was raised that the community will be building the family a garage addition to the house.  After which, enough money will be left over to start another house, that Lawrence Habitat for Humanity will commit to build in Baldwin City.
