Topeka – Jim Barnett, candidate for the Republican nomination for governor, announced Friday (June 29, 2018) that he had received the endorsement of MainPAC, the political action arm of the MainStream Coalition.
“I am especially pleased to have this endorsement from a group that supports strong public education and fiscally responsible government,” Barnett said. “Getting our state government back on sound financial footing and having our schools properly funded are essential keys to economic growth.”
“In recent election cycles, MainPAC has played a key role in helping pro-schools, pro-sensible government candidates win primaries and general elections for local and statewide office,” Barnett stated. “This endorsement is another example that my OneKansas agenda is the way to unite our state and move Kansas forward.”
