Daniel is originally from Munster, Indiana and previously served as a Firefighter in Gary, Indiana before accepting a position with the Trump campaign.

"Daniel will be a great addition to our team," said Lt. Colonel Fitzgerald (ret.). "He has experience operating at a high level and has been a fierce advocate for the President's agenda."

Daniel began with the Trump campaign during the Indiana primary. In Indiana, he was the Field Representative for Northern Indiana. After the Indiana primary, Daniel joined a national strike team where he served in Nebraska and California.

While in Nebraska and California, Daniel rose through the ranks of the Trump campaign eventually becoming a Regional Field Director for the Trump campaign in New Hampshire.

"Having someone with Daniel's experience will be a gamechanger for the 2nd district Republican primary," said Tony Bergida, Fitzgerald's Campaign Manager. "Daniel founded his political career on being able to get out the vote in a heavily contested primary election".

As Deputy Campaign Manager Daniel will be in charge of the Fitzgerald campaign's efforts in the Southeastern portion of the 2nd district.

"I look forward to working in the 2nd district, and meeting the hardworking Kansans that make this Congressional District great," said Daniel Paulson, Deputy Campaign Manager. "When I first met Col. Fitzgerald he reminded me of Trump because with both men their word is their bond. I am excited to work for Col. Fitzgerald because he is a common-sense conservative with the experience to help the President build our economy and restore our national security."
