It is time once again for the 35th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. This years parade will be Saturday March 15, 2014 with the parade commencing at 12 noon. Those who are in the parade will start gathering at 10. Besides the parade food will be available, starting at 11:30 am in an outdoor Beer Garden.
The Irish Fest will be open until 6pm. Sounds like a great Topeka St. Patrick's Day "crawl" between the Irish Fest, the Celtic Street Fair, (1-4pm) at Sixth Avenue Ballroom, and the Celtic Fox.
In addition, there is also the 6th annual Great Topeka Bed Race at 6th and Jackson with check-in and inspection at 8am with the Race beginning at 10:00am certainly a fun time for all.
