Baldwin Academy of Dance and Voice Academy Choir (ages 1st grade through high school) was selected to perform at the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts at the annual "Future Stages Festival! The local Academy, located at 711 High Street in downtown Baldwin Citywas selected and performed at the third annual fee community event, known as the Future Stages Festival was held at the Kauffman Center on Sunday, June 26, 2016.
The festival which invites youth and families to experience a diverse range of performance and interactive arts activities. The one-day festival, an extension of the Kauffman Center’s Open Doors Spotlight on Youth program,  annually provides opportunities for youth and community arts organizations to perform at Kauffman Center. The performances were showcased on Kauffman Center’s two interior stages – Helzberg Hall and Muriel Kauffman Theatre along with an exterior stage that overlooks the south lawn.

Since opening in September of 2011, more than two million visitors have experienced an event at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
